Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of green tea leaves
  • 1 cup of hot water 

How to prepare:

Add the leaves to the hot water, cover and allow to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Then strain and drink while warm. You can drink up to 4 cups of green tea per day. 

Green tea is not advised for children, pregnant women or breastfeeding women. Green tea is also not advised for anyone with a history of insomnia, kidney or liver problems, thyroid problems, gastric ulcers or gastritis. Some people may feel more anxious or agitated after drinking green tea, due to caffeine levels, and therefore are advised to reduce their tea intake.
