Dr. Valente earned his medical degree at the Souza Marques University in 2011 and is registered to practice under the CRM-RJ with license # 52.92679-5.
He completed a residency in orthopedics and trauma at the University Hospital of Pedro Ernesto in Rio de Janeiro.
He is also a member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Orthopedia (SBOT, the Brazilian Association of Orthopedics), with a sub-specialty in Trauma, which he studied at the Municipal Hospital of Miguel Couto.
He completed an internship in oncologic orthopedics and went on to complete a fellowship in sports trauma, arthroscopy and knee surgery at the Clinica do Dragão in Portugal with Dr. Espregueira Mendes.
